The Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) wishes to inform the public that the Environment and Land Court in Machakos delivered judgment on 4th October 2019 in ELC Case No. 35 of 2010- Kapa Oil Refineries Ltd and 7 Others -versus Export Processing Zones Authority and 2 Others and which the Court determined that EPZA is a licensed Water Undertaker vide Legal Notice No. 74 of 1997 and that it owns the trunk sewerline and the water infrastructure leading to the EPZA Athi River Zone together with the treatment plant in Kenanie.   

Notice is therefore given of the existence of the above judgment and the public is further notified that all ENTITIES CONNECTED to the EPZA Trunk Sewer and water Line should reapply to be connected afresh to the infrastructures within Fourteen (14) days from the date of publication of this notice by filling the application form which can be accessed by clicking the link www.epzakenya.com

All Entities are further advised to familiarize themselves with the EPZA Water & Sewerage Standard Operating Procedure which can be downloaded by clicking www.epzakenya.com.

The Public is additionally notified that EPZA as a responsible public body will not allow any pollution into its infrastructure and reserves the right to allow or disallow any application.
