Sensitization On Access To Government Procurement Opportunities Among The Youth, Women & Persons With Disabilites (Agpo) Program.

Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) is a statutory body established in 1990 through an Act of Parliament (The EPZA Act Cap 517, Laws of Kenya) with the main objective of promoting and facilitating export oriented investments and to develop an enabling environment for such investments. It is responsible for facilitating the implementation of new investment projects, providing after care services for new and existing investments.

The above referred Program aims at facilitating enterprises owned by women youth and persons living disabilities participate in government procurement opportunities in line with Article 227 of the Kenyan
Constitution 2010 on fair equitable, transparent and cost effective public procurement of goods, works and services, Article 55 on affirmative action and the public Procurement and disposal Act 2015.

The Authority therefore invites youth, women and persons with disabilities to the sensitization of the AGPO Program scheduled on 25th March 2019 at 10.00 am at the Conference Room on Ground floor, Administration Building, Viwanda Road, Off Nairobi –Namanga Highway Athi River EPZ.
